Assists
Hard Rock Bet's assists line for every player on the current slate, with recent usage and how often each player has cleared his current line.
How the Assists board works
What's on it
Every player Hard Rock Bet has posted a main assists line for on the slate, one row per player. Only Hard Rock's number is shown — no other books, no alternates. Lines are captured around 11 AM and 4 PM CT and again about an hour before each tip, so a player missing here usually means Hard Rock hasn't posted him yet. Before the day's games, the board shows the next slate with Hard Rock lines; once every game has tipped it keeps showing that slate until the next one posts.
Line movement
Moves counts changes in the line only — a new price on the same number (5.5 at −110, then 5.5 at −125) is not a move. Click the count to see the day's line path with the CT time and price of each change.
Columns
- Line / O / U — Hard Rock's current line, over price on top and under price underneath (sorts by the over).
- Last game: Min / Ast / Share / GS — the player's previous game: minutes, assists, his share of his team's assists that night, and whether he started. The date sits under Min.
- L5 — average assists over his last five games, with average minutes, average assist share and how many games that is (n) underneath. Last season's games count when he has fewer than five this season.
- vs Line — L5 average minus the current line: +2.0 means he has averaged two more than the number over his last five, −1.5 means 1.5 fewer. The hit rates say how often he cleared the line; this says by how much.
- L5 / L10 / SZN hit — how often he went over the current line in his last 5, last 10 and all games this season. Lines are always x.5, so the under rate is the remainder. Until he has five games this season, SZN shows last season instead, tagged with that season.
- Opp rank — tonight's opponent ranked against the player's position (guards, forwards, centers) by assists allowed per game: 1 = allows the fewest, 30 = the most. Uses last season until the team has played 10 games.
- Rest — days off before tonight; B2B = second night of a back-to-back.
Only games the player actually played count. Regular season only; preseason and All-Star games are never included.
Game script
Spread is the player's team line (−7.5 = favored by 7.5, +3 = a 3-point underdog, PK = pick'em) with the game total (O/U) underneath; Team tot is his team's implied points (total ÷ 2 − spread ÷ 2). Spreads of 8.5 or more are tagged Big fav / Big dog. These are DraftKings' numbers as shown on ESPN's scoreboard, not Hard Rock's, refreshed through the day. A big favorite can see its starters sit late in a blowout; a high total means more possessions and more chances for everyone.
Filters and sorting
Position chips filter to guards, forwards or centers. Game chips narrow the board to one matchup (click again to clear). Stat search — set a min and/or max on the line, last game's minutes or assists, the L5 assists average, spread, team total or opp rank; every bound must hold, and a player with no value for a bounded field drops out. Search values go into the page address, so a view can be bookmarked. Click a column header to sort; click again to flip. Click a row to open the player's game log against the current line.
What this is not
There is no model or probability here — it's a raw market view for finding spots by eye. Hit rates are backward-looking; check minutes and n before trusting a small sample. Informational only. Not betting advice.
Lines are captured around 11 AM and 4 PM CT on game days.
